Determining what you need:
First, will you need a bottle or can crimper.
The Manual Model 3000 will work fine if your doing 0-50 at a time. For
larger quantities, you will need a Pneumatic Model 4500. Then size up
which pressure filler will suit your needs; 30 ml, 100 ml, 200 ml or 500 ml.
Do you need S.S. Hardware or Kalrez packing? Make sure your propellant
is compatible with Viton. If not, you will need Kalrez packing in the
valves and Teflon Encapsulated O-rings. Additionally, you will need to
know the manufacturer and model of the valve in order to get the
correct filling adapter.
For your propellant and head pressure line, Aero-Tech offers a S.S. Braided Teflon-lined pressure hose. The HPT-100
is a very accurate test gauge and is necessary to determine the
pressure of your container. We offer 0-100, 0-160, 0-200 and 0-300 psi.
To determine which one will suit your needs, take the approximate
pressure range of your product. For example, the range is 80 psi, than
your choice then should be 0-160 psi. This way you are in the mid-range
and have versatility.
The Compatibility Vessel
we offer is the GK-500. This is a reusable aerosol container that does
not require crimping. It allows you to examine your product for
emulsification, precipitation, solubility, discoloration & effects
on metal.
