We are happy to introduce the ALT-SP, a new side ported compatibility vessel, now
capable of pressure & temperature readings quickly, Also great for observation &
stability testing for BOV (bag on valves).
It accepts a standard 1 inch can valve. With an opening of 1 inch. It has a side port
available in 1/8 inch NPT or 1/4 NPT. With the installation of a toggle or needle valve in
the side port you can fill thru the valve like our other compatibility vessels, or pressurize
& fill from the side port. The new side ported compatibility vessel, now capable of
pressure & temperature readings quickly. Also great for observation for BOV (bag on
valves). Observe how pressure effects the bag twisting or restraints. manifold is available
for mixing propellants. With the optional ATL-TK Test kit you can take instant
pressure & temperature readings. Traceable to N.I.S.T.
Accurately and safely observe your reactions!
Inert borosilicate glass construction with PVC coating for safety
Millimeter reference scale to mark changes in your sample volume
Aero-Tech's pressure reaction vessels allow for full observation of chemical reactions
in a safe vessel. These vessels are made from heavy wall, inert borosilicate glass with
a PVC safety coating. Each vessel is graduated with a millimeter reference scale.
These pressure reaction vessels are sometimes referred to as "Fisher and Porter Bottles".
They are ideal for viewing reactions of mixed compounds and viewing temperature
and pressure changes to liquids or gasses. Typical applications include hydrolysis,
hydrogenation, polymerization, catalysis and isomerization. The solubility of gases in
liquids at increased pressures. Other uses include corrosion studies, solubility studies
and spray and pressure characteristics of compounds. All reaction vessels are pressure
tested to 2x their pressure rating.
Caution and care should be exercised when handling these vessels. Glass is a strong
material able to withstand thermal and mechanical shock. However, when minor imperfections
exist glass becomes unpredictable. We cannot guarantee or warrant these
products against explosion hazards. Safety shielding is available & must be provided
by the user when handling glass vessels under pressure.

We would also like to introduce ATL-TK, a complete test kit for this new compatibility
vessel. It comes with the following:
A 3" Hand pressure tester.
This gauge combines high accuracy with rugged construction accuracy + or - 0.5% of
span. A cover is included. Available in 100 psi, 160 psi, 200 psi and 300 psi. (Must
specify range). Other ranges available upon request. Complete with diaphragm seal
assembly & probe adapter. Calibration test report. Traceable to N.I.S.T. 1/2% of span
accuracy.
Side reading digital stem thermometer.
Accuracy + or - 0.5 F, + or - 0.3 C Range –58.0 F to +302 F, -50.0 to 150.0 C.
Resolution 0.1 C, 0.1 F. A calibration check switch, assures reader that the reading is
reliable. LCD for instant, easy to see readings. Stainless steel, 4 1/8 long stem.
Double valve neoprene valve, Allows you to instantly insert the thermometer or pressure
gauge instantly without any effect on the pressurized vessel. Instant reading can
be observed. It will withstand 500 psi & 200 F. Also has a cap to protect the valve and
provides an additional seal. Below 45 degrees the neoprene valve do not recover their
original shape as rapidly as they would at temperatures above 45 degrees. Therefore,
upon removal of the probe used for pressure or temperature readings, the valve may
not fully or immediately close until the temperature is above 45 degrees. Duration of
the probe insertion and pressure are a factor in the rate of the valve closing. The cap
should be replaced immediately after removal of the probe. For this reason, addition
safety measures, such as a explosion proof, vented hood should be used when flammable
mable gases are used.
It comes in a heavy duty protective padded foam carrying case.
